A DREAM OF MINE

Acrylic on canvas, dimensions 50x100x4 cm.

;

Description of the work

This is the representation of a dream the artist had, of a snake with its head cut off. In the language of dreams, this means the end of a period of anguish; however the artist finds no satisfaction in painting the snake, so he decides to use violent brushstrokes to portray the hair of a dragon.

Hence the title “A wrong dream”, showing that, initially, the main figure was to have been a snake but which was transformed into a dragon.
