Description of the work

The work has an extremely important meaning for the artist, who has always faced up to his times of crisis using a bicycle.

Pedalling on his bike, the artist is able to reflect and find solutions to his problems. The bicycle has ears, meaning that it listens to all the outbursts and anger that the artist has at that time. It is the instrument of communication through which the artist expresses his inner crisis, the ground underneath, which is life, has holes, which are the obstacles and shortcomings that the human being experiences.

The bike, through pedalling, is, for the artist, the means to go forward and never give up, so that in the painting the brake rods are shown, even though in reality the brake near the wheel does not exist. The brakes are the metaphor that indicates how in life you can never stop and everything has to be experienced until the very end without interruptions or braking.
